The next United States Presidential election will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd and there’s a lot at stake. Republican President Donald Trump will go head to head with Democrat Joe Biden to see if he will continue on to a second term. This must NOT happen. Donald Trump has done nothing but undermine fundamental human rights, roll back climate change regulations, and fails to denounce racism within our country. Add on a completely failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic and you should have all the information you need to vote against him.

Since January 2017, we as a country have had to deal with a lot at the hands of Trump. Not long into his presidency a Special Counsel investigation started to investigate Russian interference in the election along with suspected links between Trump associates and Russian officials. We have endured through Trump’s attempts at being friends with the likes of Vladimir Putin and North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-un. Trump has done everything in his power to roll back climate change because he considers it a hoax. And worst of all, we’ve seen how his words of hate have stirred up the racist underbelly of our country. This is what we are fighting against in November and we must do everything we can to ensure there’s a change in the White House.

We all must do our part to speak with family, friends, and our communities about the importance of this election. Encourage people to vote and have tough conversations about what’s really at stake if we were to have another 4 years of Donald Trump.

Voter Registration and Deadlines

The first step in defeating Donald Trump in November and ultimately evicting him from the White House on Jan. 20, 2021, is registering to vote. If you’re unsure if you’re registered, please head over to USA.gov to check your registration status. Confirm that all your information is up to date and correct.

If you are not registered to vote, you’ll need to do so in order to participate in the general election. Each state has their own deadlines for voter registration. Head over to the US Vote Foundation’s website to find out when is your state’s deadline.

The final step is to actually register before the deadline. Registration is relatively easy and can be completed online in states. Go to Vote.gov to find out how you can register in your state and complete the steps provided.

Every vote is vital in defeating Donald Trump. Use your voice and constitutional right to remove a sad excuse of a president from the White House once and for all.
